FAQ’s

Q: Do you install in . . . .  . ?

A: Pergola installations install over the entire UK and Ireland (England, Wales, Scotland & Ireland)

Q: What is your lead time for installation?

A: Usually we can book you in within 10 working days of the delivery date. This can vary in peak season.

Q: Can you fix to Porcelain?

A: Yes we can fix down to porcelain. However please check the T&C’s for more info.

Q: Can you fix to decking, timber or composite?

A: Yes we can fix to decking. It is always helpful if we can fix down into the joist or the ring beam. 

Q: Do you do site visits?

A: Generally not,  we ask that you follow the steps below. 1) Send us some photos via email or WhatsApp with a brief description of your concerns and we will advise accordingly. 95% of all concerns can be answered this way, if yours is more complex, then we can look into a site visit, although it will cost £250, of which £100 will be deducted from the install price if you chose to go with us for your installation.

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: Yes we ask for 10% upfront.

Q: How do we arrange a install date?

A: Once you have a delivery date of your pergola, then we can work on an installation date. Not usually within the first few days, but we try and book in within 10 working days.

Q: Can you alter or customise the pergola?

A: We can cut most pergola’s down in any direction. Cutting the height is easy, cutting the width and depth depends on the brand and model. Please contact us directly before ordering your pergola.

Q: What does it cost to cut down?

A: £14 per cut.

Q: What are the required foundations for the Pergola?

A: Pergolux recommend 850mm3 concrete pads per column, we recommend between 450-500mm3 pads. If you have porcelain tiles, and there is a concrete base underneath of approx 100mm then that is also sufficient. Sand underneath and pavers IS NOT enough.
